Team Levels

The Bronze Team is for divers age ten and under. Bronze Team divers train one day per week and attend all New England regional competitions. The Silver Team is designed for divers ages eleven through 8th grade. The Silver Team may also include Bronze level divers who have committed to train more than once a week and high school age divers who are not yet ready for the Gold Team. Silver Team divers practice two to three days per week and will attend all New England regional competitions. Silver Team divers may also train in the late spring and early summer to prepare for the summer regional, zone and national competitions.

Membership
on the team is by invitation. Divers and parents who have an interest should
ask. We take new divers throughout the year when we have the space. We prefer to
coach divers who are willing to work at being the best they can be.
The
Gold Team is the heart of Boston Area Diving. Gold Team divers
strive to compete at the National level, and compete at regional and
zone championships to attain their goals. Attendance at meets
outside the New England region gives Gold Team members an opportunity to
experience different levels of competition. In general, the Gold
Team is limited to high school age divers, although younger divers who
have reached a certain level of proficiency may be invited to join the
Gold Team. Most Gold Team members continue to dive in college.
